Senior Software Engineer
Your mission
As a senior software engineer, you are part of a cross-functional R&D team where you are responsible for
- Building and maintaining software tools and applications primarily in C++ with some Python components.
- Gather requirements and collaborate with the team to implement new features and fixes, making necessary trade-offs.
- Ensure software quality by adding and managing tests, participating in code reviews, and implementing automated testing.
- Create documentation and tutorials for internal and third-party tools as needed.
- Mentor team members in utilizing internal and third-party tools, sharing expertise in programming languages, frameworks, and development practices.
- Stay updated on the latest libraries and practices, and build domain knowledge in camera calibration, image processing, and computer vision.
Your experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science or any relevant field
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Experience in implementing numerical algorithms in C++ code
- Knowledge of Python scientific stack - NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, etc.
- Strong experience in C++ and Python
- Knowledge of CI/CD tooling, automation, and version control with Git
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch/French is a plus
